ACCESSORIES FOR AUTOMATED VALVES

Selection of accessories are critical for correct operation of an automated packages. This includes, filter regulators, check valve, boosters, needle valves, pilot valve, gauges, switching valves, NAMUR mounting plates, quick exhaust, silencers, 3 way valve, relief valves, and bug vents.

ANALOG POSITIONERS

Analog positioners are controlled by a 3-15psi signal pressure or 4-20mA electric signal to balance the airflow to both linear and rotary actuators. These units have typically NAMUR shaft for rotary valve and short shaft (Double D) for linear applications.

DIGITAL POSITIONERS

Digital positioners are more advanced products that utilise 4-20mA or communication protocols such as HART, Profibus PA and Foundation Fieldbus H1 to control the flow of air to linear and rotary pneumatic actuators. These devices are supported with special software to be calibrate and adjusted to the control requirements

INTELLIGENT CONTROLLERS

Intelligent Controllers such as the Starpac are specifically design equipment to monitor the process conditions and respond to specific criteria of operation. These require special testing tools and equipment to set up to its optimum performance.

SOLENOID VALVE

Solenoid valves are used primarily to open or close actuated valve packages. It responds to an electronic signal by energizing the coil and this shift the spool accordingly. Another addition to the range is the Aviator switch which is a combination of a solenoid and switchbox, in either weather proof and explosion proof housing & certification.

SWITCHBOXES

Switchboxes are another monitoring devices used to provide feedback or indication to the positioning of the valve. The metallic and non-metallic switchboxes are available with a variety of switch options, coupled with explosion proof and weather proof enclosures. Flat lids, pharos or ultradome indicators are available to offer additional visual indication of the status of the assembly. Switchboxes can be assembled to actuated systems and also to manual valves.
