Control Valves

Flowserve Australia has extensive experience within control valve industry, supporting the simple on/off application to more sophisticated anti-surge or survivor valve applications. With more that 35 years experience in the field, Flowserve Australia is committed to quote a cost effective solution for most applications.

Angle valves are suitable alternative to globe valves for various control service applications. The geometry of the valves is suited for angular type connections within the pipeline. The valves is able to handle demanding service in terms of erosion, cavitation and flashing. It has a slightly high CV capacity compared to a globe valve.

Ball valves designed with specially characterised ball or seats can be a good choice for regulated flow control applications. These ball valves offer tight shut off for medium temperatures and pressures. Segmented ball valves are designed for more demanding applications with modified ball and seat arrangements.

High Performance butterfly valves are used in throttling service as a cost-effective alternative for valves with large sized CV applications. Its light weight, compactness, high pressure recovery factor and excellent control against low pressure drop, allows the valve to be used in gas, liquid, steam and vacuum services across a number of industries.

Sleevelined V Port Plug valves with special characterised plug, are an excellent choice for simple regulated flow control applications up to Class 600. These non-lubricated plugs, also called sleeved plug valves, offer tight shut off for medium temperatures and pressures. They can also be used in slurry applications.

Flowserve has a wide range of rotary valves that are suited for throttling applications. The eccentric trim offers a number of the positive aspects of globe, ball, butterfly and plug valves, providing unique characteristics, with high CV, low torque and tight shut off.

Globe valves are the ideal choice for many throttling and fast acting applications with reduced CV, excellent rangeability and tight shut-off. The Globe valves are typically designed with integral flanges although some Valtek models are offered with separable flanges.
