Norbro are the pneumatic, hydraulic and electric actuators for the process industries. Since the mid-sixties, the Norbro brand name has been recognised as the leading quarter turn actuator for the industry. As a proof, Norbro actuators can be found in a range of applications as diverse as petro-chemical industries, food & beverages, steel production, pharmaceutical and plastic manufacturing. From the beginning, Norbro has been dedicated to provide high performance products with combine reliability, long life and ease of maintenance with operational safety and a modular design concept which allows simple attachment of a variety of accessories to match customer requirements.

The Norbro Series 40R brings all of these factors together to provide the finest pneumatic actuator available. The compact design, anodised aluminum housing, anti-blow out pinion, one piece pinion with full teeth engagement, piston support rods to minimise side loading, Corrosion protection springs, NAMUR (VDI/VDE) connections, ISO 5211 Mounting pads and long cap screws for the complete and safe removal of the end caps. The Actuators are available in 12 sizes in either double acting and spring return arrangement. The output torque range from 11NM to 4,617NM, based on 5.5 bar of supply pressure. The Standard actuators are sealed and greases for life. The Standard seals operates at temperatures of -20 to +100 degrees and the high temperature option can reach up to 150 deg C.

One of the most reliable electric actuators on the market, the Series 75 is lightweight, compact and powerful. Its split phase capacitor AC reversing motor or DC motor
drives a valve through a sealed, permanently lubricated gear train which offers virtually lifetime maintenance-free dependable operation. The Series 75 produces torques to 3000 in-lbs. Housings are designed to TYPE 1 General Purpose, TYPE 4
Watertight, and TYPE 7, Class 1, Division 1 and 2, Group C, D and TYPE 9, Class II, Division 1 and 2, Group E, F, G. A baked polyester finish is the standard coating, but special coatings are available for extreme hazardous-environment applications.

Norbro’s Series 72 Electri-Safe actuator is a powerful, compact and economical Electro-Hydraulic actuator that generate up to 101NM, with either AC or DC supply. The unit is available in 2 sizes and offers fast response time up to 1 sec, no hydraulic reservoir, fail safe spring return, and ability to be mounted in any orientation.

The Norbro 61 Series brings new levels of control to batch/filling operations. It has been designed specifically to provide rapid, repeatable and highly accurate filling control for all weigh/measuring processes. The 61 Series is suitable for applications in either fully automatic or manual systems, and can be used with any quarter turn valve.
The design has been extensively field-tested and is based on Norbro’s world-renowned Series 40R pneumatic actuator, sizes 10-35.
