Noble Alloy Valve

Flowserve's Noble Alloy line of forged and precision cast ball and check valves provide the ultimate in flexibility and value. Unique patented designs are tailored for high alloy, high temperature, high pressure and tough severe valve applications. Combined with forged or investment cast bodies and the patented Nobleizing hardening process, you are assured of getting the best quality and performance for your application.

The product line consists of the Custom forged ball valve, System II precision cast ball valve, 3D small bore ball valve, Condor wafer piston check valve, Swing check valve and the patented Nobleizing process. Noble Alloy valves's line of 3D ball valve products provide completely reliable performance in high pressure service, metal or soft seated applications in a wide variety or demanding chemical processes.

The Noble unique features include the patented Conical metal seat design which eliminate matched lapped sets, enabling virtually unlimited trim combinations including soft seats. In addition, the patented live-loaded stem seal packing together with the patented external thrust bearing, offer superior stem seal performance and full part interchangeability for all 3D ball valve lines for economical maintenance.

The ball and stem on the 3D ball valves are hardened using the Nobleized surface enhancing technique. Nobleizing is neither a coating or a spray, but a physical and chemical conversion, producing an extremely hard finish which penetrates to an appreciable depth. The hardened surface will not peel, chip, delaminate, spall or crack. In most cases, the corrosion resistance of the Nobleized metal remain unchanged or is improved. Typically Nobleized Zirconium produces a hardness up to 70 Rc while Titanium, Tantalum and Titanium-Niobium can reach hardness levels of 54 to 65 Rc.

The Condor Piston Check Valve is a patented design with its full bore constant flow area and assurance of low pressure loss through the valve. The unique double guided piston provides total stability, even in dual phase conditions. The simple, rugged and compact design allows the valve to be installed in any position, and can be field serviced without any special tools. A swing check valve version is another addition to the range with the disc hinge pin not in the flow path and designed with no external leak path.

The product range includes:
