Durco Quarter-Turn Valves

Durco® quarter-turn valves consists of manually operated plug, ball and butterfly valves, which are widely used in the petroleum refining, chemical processing, pulp & paper, and pharmaceutical industries. Durco International invented the first non-lubricated plug valve for the most corrosive and difficult chemical service  where drop tight shut off is an absolute requirement. The company has over 50 year experiences on various applications where the reliability and versatility of sleevelined plug valves proved to be great value for money.

The Durco Sleeveline plug valve (G4) is often used for bubble-tight shutoff isolation for pumps, reactors and other process equipment. The versatile Sleeveline plug valve design can be modified to meet a number of specific applications. A 3-way version of the Sleeveline (MG) is available with various flow characteristics and in 90 & 180 degree rotations. A Firesafe versions of the Sleeveline (G4Z) have been tested to API 607 4Th Edition, and the valve surpasses the external sealing requirements of section 4, paragraph 4.3 under "Performance requirements".

The Marathon (G4B) Plug valves have been developed for high cycle application for on-off and modulating service with a 3 years stem seal warranty. The TSG4 Severe service valve has a triple seal arrangement for lethal toxic and sub-zero service where absolute stem seal  is required.

The Durco PlugSeal valve body (PS) have been designed to SWRO Desalination Industry. It offers positive shut off, fully rated to ASME Class 600, up to size 16" with in-line repairability.  Body material includes 904L, Super Duplex, 254SMO and Duplex (CD4M).

An important part of the Durco product line is a wide range of butterfly valves, available in both concentric and double-offset designs. The Durco BTV Concentric style bodies are fluoropolymer lined and offer triple-stem seal protection for corrosive applications.

The Durco BX2 series is a high performance double-offset butterfly valve, supplied in wafer and lug-style bodies, with a variety of soft, metal or fire-seal seats. The soft seated valves exceed Class VI shut off requirements to ASME/FCI 70-2 in Class 150 and 300. The Apex and Triflex metal seated valves are compliant to ASME/FCI 70-2 Class IV and Class VI respectively. It is a popular valve for both on-off and throttling applications with reliable service performances.
